Destroy the Orb of the Gods [100,000 Jewel]

Several Weeks have passed after the events in the Dragon Temple Arc. With the Eastern Forest in ruins after the titanic battle with Aelin Calalith, wizards from all across Earth Land have explored the ruins of the Dragon Temple and the forest that was once surrounding the temple ever since the exploitation of Adrahael underneath the temple's location had been leaked out to the public. With news of several ancient artifacts hidden in this forest, wizards headed here to find mystical objects, whether it was for personal gain for wealth... or for power beyond human control.

Aiyaka looked up and down the Job Request Board in the Fairy Tail Guild Hall, papers were piled onto the board so much that you couldn't see the wood it was made out of. Auro and Lithor were a few yards away, resting on a wooden table.

After staring at the request board for what seemed like hours, Aiyaka finally settled on a job. Ripping the paper from the board she hurried over to Auro and Lithor to show them. "Hey, I found a job for us to go on. Get up and we can head out right now!" She displayed the paper to the two of them to read.

Auro was still asleep on the table, his mouth slowly opening and closing as he snored. Lithor lifted himself up and squinted at the paper Aiyaka was holding. "Uh huh.." He said. "Are my eyes deceiving me or does this reward say it's 100,000 Jewel?"

"Does it?" Doni asked, walking over to the group, his hair was a wreck and he looked like he hadn't slept in a while. He looked over Aiyaka's shoulder, nodding. "That is does Lithor. Must be a pretty big job,"

"Yeah, it'll even be big divided between all of us!" Aiyaka sounded excited. "Where does it say to go exactly?" She flipped the paper to take a closer look.

On the Paper, the title of the job was "Destroy the Orb of the Gods" and a picture with a large question mark was stamped underneath it.

"A reward of 100,000 Jewel will be awarded to the wizard with enough bravery, skill, and determination to locate and destroy this artifact of destruction. Locating it in the Eastern Forest and destroying it will result in a great turn of events, once destroyed, meet me here and I will award you your prize if you bring me the remains of the destroyed artifact."

The owner of this request had then put his address on the bottom of the paper.

"What does this guy want with the remains anyway?" Doni muttered, as Shadow sat down on his shoulder. "Let's do it!" Shadow said, sarcastically. "What could go wrong, this guy gets the remains, rebuilds it, and kills us all, that's nothing!"

"Or maybe he wants to dispose of them properly so no one else gets their hands on it," Aiyaka argued,"And if that means you're backing out then more money for me." She shrugged.

"We don't even know what that orb even does." Auro was now awake, his head still on the table. "The power of a god is unmeasured, how could it be held inside of a small ball."

"Maybe the orb is something that allows a person to harness the power of a god?" Doni suggested, rolling his eyes at Aiyaka and turning to Auro. "I'd rather meet this guy before we just hand over something that could kill us all.." Shadow whispered to Lithor.

Auro stood up and tugged on his glove, tightening it as he wriggled his fingers. "Why not do what the guy said, destroy it and then give him a single shard of the artifact so he knows we destroyed it, but not enough for him to rebuild it." A smirk came across his face.

"But how would we know that one of us wouldn't take the power for ourselves?" Lithor pointed out. "You would probably take it for the power, and Aiyaka would take it for the money."

"Thanks for the vote of confidence, cat. Why don't we just go destroy it and get the reward already," Aiyaka said already walking towards the door, flyer in hand.

"What crawled up her today." Doni muttered to Auro, elbowing him in the ribs as he followed after Aiyaka, Shadow sticking his tongue out at Auro as they passed him leaving.

Lithor gave a sly snicker. "I was just saying." He was then picked up by the tail and rested onto Auro's shoulder. Auro ran past Doni and past Aiyaka, quickly taking the lead acting as if it was a race to see who got there first.

Doni grinned, laughing under his breath as he ran after Auro, passing Aiyaka and slowly reaching Auro's heels. He pushed forward a bit more, and got up right next to him. "Take one for the team!" He said, picking Shadow up. Shadow snarled under his breath, but couldn't hold back a laugh as Doni tossed him at Auro and Lithor, his claws out, and his limbs spread eagle.

Lithor jumped off of Auro's and attacked Shadow in mid-air leaving Auro and Doni to continue their race.

Doni pulled ahead of Auro, laughing. "Really gonna tire yourself out, knowing you're going to lose?" He asked, slightly out of breath as they ran.
